Math is not one man contribution. The development of math is a fortune for all human beings. In this course, we had seen math from different times in history, different cultures, and different approaches. Also, it is always amazing to know that people got similar ideas without communicating.
For math teachers having an open mindset and introducing and celebrating the history of math in their math teaching process are important. I appreciate introductions from Susan, guest speakers and my peers of the development of math in different regions. I will explore more on the topics and definitely pass what I learned to my students.
I feel this course is well-designed so I cannot think of any suggestion.
